For me, the ups of high school outweigh the downs. I have met some incredible people, peers and teachers, and have made some life long friendships. The only bad part of high school is knowing that it comes to an end. You grow up and people will go their separate ways. However, you will always have your memories of high school whether they are good or bad. If I wanted to see any change, it would be to see more inclusion for students as a whole. Obviously there is cliques, that is a given. But I would love to see everyone get along. That would add to the atmosphere and would actually make people want to go to school.

Van High School offers many CTE programs unlike many schools. They help jump start your career with programs like agriculture, welding, floral, and realtor licence program.

Van is an amazing place. The teachers are just perfect for all types of learners. I spent most of my life outside of Van going to different schools, and I was never considered a smart student. Until I attended Van High School. My grades went for alright to spectacular, and I had more friends than ever before, not just including students.

Out of all the schools I have ever attended Van ISD in general is the worst school I’ve ever gone to. The whole student body is disrespectful and full of bullies. The staff DO NOT care unless their parent works at the school or their parents give generous amounts of income. The counselors care but o...

We came from a huge city (2+ million population) to Van. I had interactions with the district Superintendent, the Elementary Principal and the HS VP and Principal. The office staff in the Elem, Jr High and HS are rude and unsophisticated. They lack people skills and are not outgoing. They are terrib...
