I would like to have CCP courses offered at the high school. I wish the school would use weighted grades for college CCP courses like other area schools do. If the high school would offer evening or weekend hours once a month for families to meet with student advisors, college, etc.. would be very helpful for students plan or prepare for college.

I love going to school at Van Wert High School and I am very proud to be a part of such a great community. I am able to be in many clubs such as Robotics, Art, Spanish, Quiz Bowl, etc. We also have a very well-funded arts program. This includes band, Choir, Theater, TV production, and traditional art classes. However, that does not mean that it does not have its problems. Even though the overall culture of the school is great, there are many students who go out of their way to be rude to others. A change I would like to see in the school is a stricter rule over bullying (especially online).

Van Wert throughout my experience has overall came down to dealing with up tight people that don't want to have fun.
