My experience here has been amazing so far even though its my first year here. When I first transfered from Sherman High School, I thought I would have trouble making friends and have trouble learning. Since the first day of school I have made a group of friends. I have made those friends through sports and classes. The teachers don't care to help if you are struggling. The teachers are one of the best things. The worst part about it all is just trying to do my best in sports but I have a lot of fun. I play volleyball and I do cheer. I try my best in these sports. It is my first year playing volleyball so I dont know a lot. But with the season almost over I can say I've learned a lot from my coaches. My cheer coach is the absolute best. The volleyball games have taught me teamwork and so has cheer. I have learned so much in my classes. It really is the best school. So many learning experiences.

I have spent the last four years at Van High School. My experience at this school has changed my life. The teachers are superb and they have prepared me for college. Van high school is a very small school. Because of Van being a small school it has created a family atmosphere. That helps the students learn what they need faster. The teams at Van High School are amazing; basketball and football have a winning seasons since I have been in high school. I play for the girls basketball team and my team has made a difference in people's life. The girls that play get something to enjoy and be inspired by it. If the girls enjoy playing the sport it helps their grades. So it helps the school all around by playing sport to the help from the teachers.

Its alright, but its not the best. There is no metal detectors, like some schools have. Also, kids don't have to have an ID.
The school is just like the middle school if you’re not a teacher or coaches child or your family grew up here or you’re a skinny white girl, you will not fit in here. Some of the teachers are bullies most of the kids are bullies. The only thing the school cares about is their sports programs. Nothi...
