GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers at Kiski are some of the most supportive people I've known. They are very helpful in guiding me through high school and preparation for college. There is a range of academics to verse yourself in, and I've taken numerous courses in different subjects. All students get along well, and everyone is very involved in the clubs and sports available. As a senior, I've really enjoyed my time at Kiski, and I hope to carry its memories with me after graduation.

The thing that I like the most about Kiski Area is they give us the opportunity to have lunch and learn. Lunch and learn is a time in the middle of the day where a student has the chance to go see teachers if they need help in a certain class, eat lunch, hangout with your friends, and have some time to go down to the gyms to have a little recreation. We also run on a A/B day schedule, where you have periods 1-4 on day A and periods 5-8 on day B. This gives teachers more time to teach and help their students in class. It also helps the student athletes have more time to finish homework between games and practice.

I attended from 1st-9th grade and it was absolutely phenomenal. Best school I have been to by far, the student body is responsible and respectful along with all the staff. The food is wonderful because they give a large variety to choose from everyday, every week, and every month.

As an alumni I was not properly prepared for college and when speaking to my college peers, realized how behind our education at Kiski was. (At Kiski I was a top student for reference.) Fast forward to today, Kiski has eliminated the gifted program as well as programs for those who need extra learni...

Everything about it is awful. I'm highly involved in sports and clubs and they all suck except for track. All my honors and AP classes are terrible. The staff is a disgrace. There is nothing good about Kiski. I wish I had went to a different high school.
