We have never had any scary threats, no empty bomb threats or things like that. We had one student years ago that said he was going to bomb the school and the staff took it very seriously.

The students aren't allowed to wear tank tops or anything that has a less than two inch strap. The students are also not allowed to wear shorts that are shorter than their finger tips. I don't think that the tank top policy is good at all, for a school that doesn't have an air conditioner we need to wear shirts that aren't so bulky. The shorts policy is very understandable. Other policies are pretty normal.

Yes, Vanlue is a small school. But, it has a lot of pride. Vanlue is known as the small school and some of us like it that way.
