Vashon Island High school is a very safe school. It has a strong sense of community, where everyone pretty much gets along. For the most part, the teachers are great, and the classes are interesting.

Community feel, small town. The athletics might be not the greatest, but school spirit is unmatched. It is a great school but commuting on the ferry from West Seattle gets old by Senior year.

VHS is a really great school, it has a tight community with for the most part a caring staff. I'm taking off a star for lack of diversity, and also the fact that with at most 3 teachers of color VHS does a poor job of teaching about diversity outside of the textbook.
