Most of the teachers are good but the classmates I have to deal with are bad. Being in the smarter classes helps but you still have electives that you must take. Also they force you unless you can't to take a useless math credit your senior year.

I have grown up at Venus ISD and I have watched it go down hill some as I got older but it's my hometown so it will always be a special school district to me.

Venus high school is a small school. It has mostly good teachers and coaches that will work with you. The school system is improving. However, teachers always come and go

All they do is tell you to just ignore the bullying and such but it’s not safe.. some kid was in the mental hospital since some person made them feel bad about themselves and they were just told to ignore them. I give this review one star since no teacher e...

Avoid at all costs. Cronyism and nepotism are rampant in this district, and there is far too much emphasis placed on a failing sports program and little to none on education. Taxpayer money is continously spent on frivolous things and creating fake jobs for friends and family of the administration a...

I always thought that high school years were supposed to be the best years of my life. Sadly for me I attended Venus High school and got the exact opposite. Half of the coaches are teachers, their misbehaved athletes are given special treatment compared to other students. A lot of students got away...

I moved my child from a nearby large public school to Venus and I absolutely don't regret my decision. My older children graduated from the larger district so I have personal knowledge of both school environments. Venus is by far the superior school district. I always know what is going on with my c...
