My years at Verbena were pretty good. The best parts would be how passionate and caring the teachers are. another favorite of mine would be attending sports events even if we lost. The worst part about verbena I would say would be the bullying and other students causing disruptions.

I liked the student to teacher ratio. The campus is clean. Some of the faculty and staff are good caring people. There is very little attention paid to bullying, and there is a lot of racial discrimination among students.

Verbena High School is a small community school filled with people you probably met through your parents when you were younger. The best thing about having a small community is not having to adjust to a lot of new change that could take place. Things that could change is the conditions of the lockers in the hallways, sewage leakage, paving the student parking lot, and our auditorium could use a new projector screen.

Verbena Annex and HS have been great for our family. My daughter was sad school ended last month, she likes going so much. My only issue with the administration is lack of communication with parents regarding homework assignments or tests. It would make a big difference to receive a group email each...

I am pleased with the level of involvement and effort shown by the faculty and am happy with the progress my son has made. My only wish is that they had more recour...
