My overall view of Vermilion High School is really good. It isn't like the cliche high school with crazy bullies or crazy drama. Yes, all schools have drama but Vermilion High School totally covered in it. They staff here a great and they take safety to an another level with different drills and such. What I would like to see change is student involvement. Yes, some of our students are involved academically and athletically but not everyone.

VHS was a great school. I really felt like the teachers cared about me as a person. So many times they just "checked in" to make sure I was doing okay.

Vermilion High School provided me with so many different opportunities from music and arts, to a great education. Many of the teachers, coaches, and directors are extremely supportive of the students. The administration went a little downhill as my years at VHS came to an end, but for most of my years there, everything was great.

There is "clicks" and people are mean to each other people but bullying isn't much of a problem. The athletic program isn't great although, some sports do fairly well but coaching is all about fav...

I love this school almost as much as my high school boys. This school has made them both very responsible, but boy-o-boy do they stink! Pe-yew!

I have a total of 5 children who have and/or are attending. I do agree with some of the points that others have listed. The sports being one of them. Yes, Vermilion is a small town but they do have some talented children that just can't be scouted out because of the lack of coaching ability. The foo...

There is no recruiting for sports because the coaches are just ridiculous and stick with favorites, but what are they going to do when those favorites graduate? Oh yeah, complain. Because that's what they always do. Compare and complain.
