GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Throughout my years at VHS, I have encountered great experienced including finding my passion, my best friends, and an amazing place to call home. I really am enjoying my years at this highschool and am looking forward to my last year as well. Though one thing I would like to see a change in is the college application process. I feel as though I don't know a lot of whats going on as I enter my senior year. I feel as though nobody has given as much help or direction I could use to help my throughout this difficult process.

I really liked a lot of the staff and teachers, everyone was so accepting and helpful at VHS. One thing I would suggest change in is more school activities such as pep rally's.

Two of my three children have graduated VHS, and now my youngest is entering her Sophomore year. VHS offers students a sense of self-worth difficult to find in very large high schools, along with a solid education which prepares them for college and society.
