good teachers. Just banned phones which isn't great. good is not great. other than that it's a pretty good school. much better that Luther Jackson in terms of crime/teenage pregnancy/vaping/ect. would definitely recommend.

All around wonderful middle school. Academics are strong, extra curricular strong. Most importantly they have a positive and nurturing climate for optimal learning and growth.

Thoreau Middle School was a very disappointing experience. Even though there was an on-campus school officer, students still got beat up, and bullying was a serious problem.
