Attending Kempsville High has a mix of highs and lows. Kempsville offers many unique opportunities, such as DECA, FBLA, and EBA. These programs/clubs help enrich so many of the students' academic journeys. Last year, they helped me find my career path by telling me about ATC. ATC is an advanced technology center that offers technical and career programs. This helped me lean into the Career of Computer Science. All four years I've been at Kempsville, I haven't had a bad experience yet.

Kempsville High School is a school where a lot of drama goes on. There are a select few teachers who actually care about us students. The food here isn't good at all but I think that may be for most public schools in america. When it comes to academics a lot of the things we learn in class are repeated. Our counselors barely talk to us and when we do talk to them they are rude and standoffish. Overall Kempsville isn't really a great school but since isolating myself its been better to manage.

A good school with strong leadership and sportsmanship. We do everything as a team, and try not to leave people behind! As with every school, there will be differences in how each teacher teaches. But in my general experience, I've had wonderful teachers. :)

Extremely strong high school hated rated by parents & kids who actually GO THERE. Kempsville High sits in the middle of Kempsville Borough one of the most popular areas of Virginia Beach. Kempsville area is very family oriented and almost resembles a small town in the middle of a huge large city. Ke...
