Overall, I think VES really prepared me well for college, and also gave me a unique high school experience that I would never imagine before coming to here. The faculties are very supportive, and the close knit community can really help with making new friends and starting great relationships.

excellent life-changing school with boarding students and day students in the Blue Ridge Mountains with great leadership and excellent teachers and coaches.

VES has been an amazing experience for me so far. The tight nit community of students and faculty who live here have had many positive impacts on my learning career. Though there are things that could see more improvement such as clubs and communication between students and administrators, the overall environment and academics are very good. There is also lots of involvement during the weekends and events.

The overall boarding school experience and curriculum at VES better prepared me for college. VES today still embodies an encouraging environment for its students to strive to be the best they can be. It just keeps getting better!

I'm a senior at VES and it has changed my life, and more importantly, has changed me. The teachers truly care about the students, and I feel so lucky to be part of a community where everyone knows me and wants me to be the best that I can be. I am not ready to say goodbye in May!!
