GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love Northfield. I just moved here as a senior and it's smaller than my old school. I love that the community I have met here and I finally feel like I belong among my peers. The staff is great and very welcoming. I definitely recommend Northfield for anyone who wants a good education and community.

I have enjoyed my experience at Northfield Jr/Sr High School. Most of the teachers are really encouraging while making school fun. I think the best part about Northfield is the student body that generally enjoys welcoming new students and staff. In my opinion the worst part about Northfield is the finals. I think Northfield could do finals the last week of school instead of the last two days. Students are forced to cram-study every piece of information learned over the year. I believe that expanding the array of days for testing would help student performance on finals.

All four of my children have gone (or are going) through Northfield Junio/Senior High School. They have a excelled in academics and athletics. The only complaint at this time is that the two that have graduated and moved on to college do not feel as if they were prepared for "how to study".

This is a good school. The atmosphere is reflective of a tight-knit community. The students get more attention because the class sizes are smaller. The only thing I would like to see change is to offer more classes to the students.

Northfield isnt a very good school because the teachers dont care about the kids. its like they are just another number there. The teachers dont have any knowledge on what they are teaching half the time and i havent gained anything out of that school!
