The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at this high school was great because I was involved in sports and did good academically but if you don't do those things you will not have a good experience at this high school. This school is very focused around sports so if you are not in a sport you cant be very involved.

The staff is mostly friendly and most of the teachers will do all they can to help students succeed. There are some courses not offered at the smaller school that any large school will have, but there is still plenty of diversity.

Wabaunsee High has amazing teachers and staff. They are willing to work with you on anything and everything. They really do prepare you for the future whether it is for class or just advice. Almost all the students are involved from sports to clubs. Wabaunsee has many clubs like FCCLA or PepBand. The sports are also very fair when it comes to playing time.
