Attending Waialua High School has given me some of the best memories of my life thus far. Being in such a small community, all of the students attending Waialua High School and the community surrounding the school are very engaged and connected to our activities, student life, extracurriculars, and much more. Although our school is small, our community is strong, and that is why attending Waialua High School is one of the best decisions I have made.

I love the community and the spirit of the school. It's small and everyone knows each other, so it feels like a big family. However , the academics are lacking and that leads to lack of motivation in students. It also makes it harder for students to be self-directed because they're so used to being handed everything or taking the easy way out. I would like to see an emphasis on the important of education and stricter policies regarding academic dishonesty and other issues.

The community and staff members know each other very well. It is very easy to make friends and build relationships over time. I loved the "aloha" spirit within the school and thought I was involved inside of any of the events planned.
