GreatSchools Rating

Source: GreatSchools
GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

WWHS is a great school. It is a rather welcoming but lacks in terms of diversity and clubs. The school itself offers good education and has a beautiful campus.

I struggled for a while, I felt left out, it was hard to make friends and I wasn't able to take in the material that was being taught well. After a while I got better at getting extra help and not being ashamed for not understanding it the first time.

Mostly good teachers, but there is a good number of teachers that don't teach very well. Decent facilities. Overall glad I went there.

The physical school is, yes, in need of updating. The campus is beautiful and is mostly respected by the students. Parking can be challenging and the lack of proper HVAC systems in the classrooms make for very hot warm months and cold winters. This is at no fault of the school itself, but rather the...

Wa-hi is a great high school to attend, and will enrich your child's high school experience. It offers many unique electives, and now that my child has graduated, they are thankful for the wonderful oppurtunities.
