GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best thing about Lyman is the A.G. program, it really is the biggest part. I am a part of A.G. program and it is very good and can really make you work on your technical skills and really helps you in the long run. They do courses throughout the year in freshman, shpomor, and junior year based on things in the real world and to prepare you for college. The worst thing is how the school is, there are a lot of student based issues, and some teachers do not help. There is favoritism to the students that do sports and it may not be a lot but everyone can see it.

I like how big the school is and the different courses. There are alot of different classes to take and the teachers are nice. My favorite class was the cooking class.

Lyman Hall is an overall good high school. Teachers value their students, and everyone is mostly friendly with one another. There is not much that I would change about it as I personally have had a good experience.

I am about to start my senior year at LHHS, and I would say that the school is average, if not slightly below. I've found that my experience has been similar to most of the other student reviews. There are definitely a couple of teachers who have really made a difference for me, but beyond that, I w...

As a senior, I'd have to say the school's alright. It was better years ago and honestly it's just gotten worse over time. There are some really great teachers who have made a huge impact on my life but then there are the majority, who did not better my education whatsoever. Most complain about the "...

The school isn't accepting of Hispanics or blacks. Daughter was miserable so I took her out and put her in platt.
