I will forever be grateful for my experience at SHHS. Haven has all the extracurriculars you could ever want in a High School. It has so many clubs and sports that all meet DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. I can't understand people who don't stay for activities. They will definitely find something they like.

My son started as an AP student for his freshman year. The only positive thing he liked about the school is the Graphic Design, Spanish and lunch. Otherwise he feels very separated being in the minority group. I wish he was able to make friends like he did in middle school but, that doesn't seem to be the culture for this school. He has expressed that everyone is pretty clickish and closed off. With that being said, he won't be returning next year as I'd rather him be in an environment where he feels accepted.

This school is much better than one of those school district of rich people where no kids will compare clothing, brand name, or be laughed when wearing no name brand outfit. The students help each other, and teachers are always available. My child said when she graduated and moved on an Ivy League s...

I was someone who was in special education as a child. Wssd put 5 years of time and effort into getting me out. When I was given academic independence in middle school, I struggled. My grades slipped, however, my teachers and guidance counselors noticed and helped me. By the time I was in high schoo...

Our child has had a great experience here. They've been challenged and gotten help when they've needed it. The block schedule makes getting additional attention pretty straightforward. All of the teachers seem to care a great deal about the children. There have been more than enough clubs and extra-...

I attended any ivy league university after attending this school. I found the school did not adequately prepare me for the level of work that was expected at college. In the end I did okay, as did most of my peers who went to good universities. But that is mostly because of our privileged background...
