Some teachers are not great at their job, but that is to be expected. I overall really enjoy this school. The people here are so nice and, if you surround yourself with the right ones, encourage you to be better and to excel. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have the flexibility to take the hardest classes possible or relatively easy ones. Anyone can excel here, just remember to apply yourself.

Walnut Hills is a very good school. Very diverse and a really good college prep school. The staff is really good as well.

My experience with Walnut Hills is that we have great education. We also have an amazing buiding and facilities. There have been a few problems, the administrators do not give the students enough trust in order to be sucessful. Walnut is supposed to be a college prepotory school and we are watched every second of the day. We are only allowed to eat lunch in one place and we are not allowed to have any phones, which are both things we have when we go to college.

Even though it advertises itself as "college prep," students are not given the same level of independence as actual college students. Terrible. Please, go somewhere else. Schools like Spencer Center need more people; Walnut does not deserve any. With a high lack of culture besides the generic high school (homecoming, etc.), a prejudice against creative thinking, numerous worksheets and by-the-book teachers, this certainly falls at...
