Walters High School is situated about 35 minutes away from the third largest city in Oklahoma. Being a small town, you grow up knowing each one of your classmates names by heart. It's one of those things that you will never get from a larger school. On the flip side, opportunities are not as sparse as they would be in other schools. The curriculum is not up to what a high schooler needs to succeed in college.

I liked the teachers, I didn't in 1989 when I graduated, but now realize that they truly helped prepare me for my adult life

My kids love it here. The high school is under going a renovation right now should be much improved. The community is a great place raise your kids too.

I am a student at Walters HS and I just want to say how much i enjoy it here. I have moved around to many schools in my lifetime and this one feels like home. I enjoy playing basketball and running track. I also love being in choir too. After graduation I would like to go to Baylor and study medicin...
