Ruben A. Cirillo is a small district with a tight knit community. Everyone knows one another and lots of teachers have students in the district. With the small district comes with lots politics coming into play. Lots of people that live here attended the school themselves which can lead to the small town mentality. Everyone is in everyone's business. The school it's self struggles to keep staff that is qualified. The sports teams excel in waves. Some years no teams win and others a ton of team win. There is a lot of rebuilding and development working on school facilities. The staff is very hit or miss some teachers are able to adapt to the new classes and the way they act other teachers haven't changed in ten years. Overall the environment in the school shows a lot of cliques.

Gananda is an extremely small school district. Everyone knows each other and it is highly encouraged to help one another. Although our school is small, we have a good amount of programs and opportunities given to students. Teachers are always willing to put their time in and help. Overall, Gananda is a great school and I am privileged to go there.

This is not your average high school. There is a high academic performance and alot of stress is placed on the arts by students. Being such a small school, it is a good community and there are not a lot of the social problems seen in other districts. That being said they do have an uninvolved administration that can make it difficult at times.

I'm so pleased with so many things about this school. What I believe is the most important though is the will that the staff and teachers have to help our children succeed!

What a wonderful and caring community. It's so safe here. The school administration goes above and beyond keeping the students safe. The school counselor we worked with really knew what she was doing and set my child's schedule up and helped with welcoming the new student so considerately. I did a l...
