In my four years at Houston County High School, I have been able to experience Friday night football games, before and after school extracurricular activities, and five star academics. These have all been positive experiences for me in my time at HOCO and have made high school fun for me.

In my experience Houston County high school prepared me for college by providing dual enrollment classes. Which allowed me to earn college credit while receiving the extra support from a high school teacher. However, I felt the school lacked comradery for girls sports. So I would love to see people show up and cheer on girls sports. Overall, this school treated me well.

Teachers and guidance counselor stay in contact with me; not afraid to reach out and work with parents to help their students succeed. As an alumni and now parent of a student, I know my child is in good hands at this school.
