I have went to Warrenton High School for 4 years. I have enjoyed my experience very much through my academic success and my athletic involvement. The academics have pushed me to do my best and try my hardest.

It's really a toss-up on whether you will have a teacher that genuinely cares about you and your grades or a teacher that is just there to be paid and leave. Some teachers do the absolute minimum, and some don't even teach. There are multiple teachers who don't know what they're talking about half the time, and are then corrected by the students. Thank goodness the arts programs at school are a sort of safe-haven, otherwise I would have begged my parents to pull me from the district a long time ago.

The school is plagued by bullying, drug use in the bathrooms, vaping, and frequent fights—this is the daily reality. The emphasis seems to be more on pushing students through the system rather than on genu...

My child is a freshman and has had a great experience. He is happy and feels challenged academically and athletically. We are happy with our switch from the local private school to Warrenton High School.

No school is perfect but I am completely happy with the education my daughter is getting at WHS. I firmly believe an education is every bit as much as the student's and parent's responsibility as it is the school and teachers'. All of my daughter's teachers are attentive to her when she has question...
