Our older son really struggled in a typical public school classroom. He is a bit of a day dreamer, and it takes him a little while to make transitions. His teacher and fellow students at the Waldorf School of DuPage have been so patient and kind. The experience has changed the trajectory of his young life by giving him the space to be himself.

This school has been such a blessing to my now 2nd grader. She is in a gentle environment that gives her the freedom to move at her pace. Small class size allows more attention to her needs. Lots of outside time and appreciation to the natural world. She is moving her body in so many ways. Her whole self is being nurtured. She has found many tools to help regulate her body such as handwork and painting. My main motivation for going Waldorf is to preserve her childhood. She only gets one. Check this school out !!!

This school is cleverly marketed but do not be fooled. We experienced prejudice and was witness to extensive disfunction.

This school is in a constant state of self-preservation which takes priority over serving the child's educational and emotional needs.Student turn over is immense. Great in theory. Unfortunately, senior leadership at this particular school rules by supremacy dictatorship.
