Overall I have really enjoyed my time here at Jackson-Reed over the past 4 years. I have been on the baseball team all 4 years and that would probably be the highlight of the school for me.

Jackson-Reed's large community and vast array of extracurriculars, language programs, and academic opportunities help me to learn and grow. I don't have much to complain about, but the football team is subpar, and we aren't even allowed to go to some games without a parent/payment.

My experience has been great at this school. DCPS offers a lot of great resources for students to use and prepped me in career readiness to have experience under my belt to elevate me compared to other students straight out of high school. The academies offered by the school are a great advantage to get ahead and do amazing things very early on with professional companies or amazing schools.

No support for teachers. Asks to teach courses that require specialized training without providing training. Administration uses the unfair evaluation system to separate teachers they don't like even though those teachers performed above and beyond to produce impressive test scores. There is no park...

The administration treats teachers so badly. Teachers are the most important asset to a school.

I think the school is very diverse and the students are doing well both academically and in sports. This rating has to be increased.
