The teachers really got to know the students in a personal level. As we grew over the school years, the staff remained stable and were able to see our growth. They knew our parents pretty well, and overall they were a great staff.

The administration office in our school has a heavy presence. When you walk in the first thing you'll see is either the principal or one of the assistant principals standing ready to greet you. My school is very strict and almost every problem is handled by the administration itself rather than the teacher settling issues right on the spot.I say that the administration in my shool is okay because they sometimes put the integrity and prestige of the school before the well being of the student. If a student is struggling sometimes they're too quick to throw them out and not work with them. They also show favoritism to some students

We've been at John Lewis since they opened the new building in 2021, have two daughters there in 1st and PK4 who both started in PK3. We could not be happier with this school. JOHN LEWIS ELEMENTARY is an amazing experience. It's a beautiful new building with a great team of teachers and administrators. Heavily underrated school on this site, and they have the name listed incorrectly!

My son loves West. He's asked to go to school on the weekend a few times (never happened at his old school). Principal Vroman is dynamic and a go getter--she listens to parents and follows through.
