such an inclusive community of dedicated girl, just the student body is a bit iffy with that kind of stuff if u know what i mean, like mean girls. kids of some pretty rich and powerful people go here too

NCS is unmatched. It has amazing daily, weekly, and annual traditions that students cherish. The support of the teachers is incredible. They are always keeping your best interests in mind. Students strive for excellence while maintaining an uplifting attitude toward others. The school prepares you for college and teaches you skills like time management and collaboration.

I joined NCS in my freshman year, and will be a senior soon. The small class sizes allows me to take advantage of my teachers as resources and get more personalized help, which has been invaluable to me during my education.

I attended St. Albans daycare, Beauvoir, Lower, Middle and finally left after sophomore year of upper school. What I can say about Cathedral is that it was an extremely cold, cruel, and unfair school. Favoritism was doled out to certain students based on who their parents were or what they donated....

The Upper School is off-the-charts good, with uncompromising standards. Rigorous and competitive, but nurturing at the same time. I was a student at NCS and I wish my parents had made another decision for my schooling. While the academics were good, I was unhappy, stressed and socially tormented, and so were many of my classmates. I think that there are many other good schools in the DC area with happier students.

If we had to do it all over again we would not send our daughter here. We are just waiting for it to be over. This year we have a harkness mah teacher. No structure, no sullabus, no teaching .
