Honestly I love the school. In the beginning I thought I would dislike it because it was an all boys school and it was small, but now I know all of my teachers by heart and I can walk up to them whenever I have a question about the material. Even after school there are engaging events.

We moved to St. Anselm's because we were looking for a more rigorous experience for our boys after years in DCPS. It is hard but the academics are balanced with many non-academic opportunities and plenty of support.

Saint Anselm's has been a great fit for my son. There's lots of personal attention and exceptional academic opportunities.

SAAS as it's known is DC's best-kept secret, due it its small size and off the beaten path location. If your son is extremely bright, hard working, and serious about a community based on high standards, this school might be a great fit. There is no grade inflation going on here; they understand boys...

Best kept educational secret in the DC area. What do I like abou...

It was a good middle school until the pandemic. After, the teachers in high school refused to accept that there was a lag in learning and called my son lazy. Leadership changes especially in the upper school has made this school become adrift with abusive teachers supposedly being rigorous and havin...
