Burchell really helped me in more ways than just graduating highschool. The mentors are super understanding when it comes to mental health. I genuinely believe that being able to work at my own pace is the only reason i graduated.

I am a Junior this year graduating from Burchell High School. My school in my opinion is very safe and effective. I see others that are struggling in their life, getting help from the councilors, nurses, and teachers. This school is a bully free zone. If someone is being harassed at this school, the Principal and Vice Principal have a meeting and decide what to do from there. This school has changed so much since I started to go in 2010 with only two credits. There are programs that kids sign up to do to help other stragglers like Peer Helpers, TATU ( teens against tobacco use. ). This school deserves to be recognized for the integrity and challenges we all have had faced. I love my high school.
