GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I came to this school my junior year of high school and they made me transition so easy. They made sure I always had something there for me and made me feel at home.

Tech school is an amazing opportunity if you're really interested in your trade and you're willing to work hard. To start off, the things I love about this school is the school based health center (real doctors, therapists, and dentists), the library with amazing resources, and the guidance office most times. Now for what I really dislike: lame spirit weeks, boring fundraisers, no school trips (until late senior year) - i haven't had one since middle school. covid is over so idk why we still aren't allowed to do anything fun, we only get one bathroom that everyone has to cram in, lack of empathy for physically and mentally ill students, and zero care for the arts. i've been in choir for all 4 years and we've only done one concert, and they always cancel our trips. this seems to be mostly the administration's fault. they give all attention and money to sports teams but nothing to the arts program. i also HATE the food but so does literally everyone else. i've gotten rotten food :/

My experience at Kaynor so far has been great. I believe that their offer of academics and trades is amazing and the balance between both is equal. The counselors are amazing when it comes to preparing students for college or helping students improve their grades and provide recourses.
