GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love the personal connections the school attempts to make with the students. There are plenty of extra curricular activities to get students involved. I wish that the school would be more open to change.

Although many of my colleagues that I graduated with in Waterloo had always complained about the school, I've always loved going there. It wasn't a big school or a school with a great sports program but the Waterloo spirit is like no other.

Most of the options are sports related. There seems to be a select group of students willing to participate in extracurriculars. For the most part, parents of those committed students are supportive. The amount of activities for some clubs are limited - not a good commitment to fun activities that involve students

This school did nothing when I was bullied by students and belittled by teachers. I was majorly depressed when I left the high school and it went almost completely away after just a few months. This school is awful!

Pretty good school, but needs to rid itself of the block scheduling and do something about the band students who walk around like they own the school, and are constantly disrespectful towards teachers and fellow students. The district should also rid itself of the Superintendent, who has done nothin...
