We were very disappointed with our experience with JCDS. The teachers are not all well qualified and they let folks without teaching diplomas lead classes. There is a lot of emphasis on parent participation and pressure for parents to do things for the school which is difficult for working families. Finally, there is very little emphasis on enrichment and academic acceleration as they simply don't have the resources for it.

There was some moderate bullying but nothing serious. The health classes were not very good and did not cover real lie things which would be useful in high school. There was no school nurse for most of my time there.
