GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Watertown High School has seen a lot of things. It has watched thousands of kids grow into adults, and plenty of teachers retire. The best parts of my experience at WHS were the nice facilities. We have one of the nicest gyms in the state, and amazing class rooms. The worst, would probably be that so many people do not feel safe there. Whether that is from the bullying, the vaping, or the fights that go on there. There needs to be more precautions put in so kids feel safer, and are not scared to walk around the halls alone.

Over all nice school. Has the classes you need. Opportunities for great off campus classes like machine tooling ect. However teachers were not always fair to all students, and there were some fights and other issues. There was some food issues with moldy foods which was resolved with changing management and ordering vender.

There are a few decent teachers. The AP teachers seem to be the most qualified for their jobs. Not a great place to go to unless you're rich, white, straight, or have a popular last name. especially with sports. if your family isn't popular, good luck getting on a varsity team.

Then, there are other teacher's who have their favorites; the rich kids, the sport 'superstars', and the relatives. On another note, the school lunches are terrible, though that is not entirely the fault of t...
