Dance club is available to kids K-8, Girls on the Run is offered to girls 5-8 in the spring- it encourages girls to be strong role models and self esteem. Sports are a staple of the school but because of low student numbers, 2 other area private schools are invited to participate which encourages diversity and cooperation. 5-6 graders attend a 3 day/2night camp each year with a nature theme. 7/8 grade takes a class trip to Chicago via train and visits the attractions in the big city every other year- the alternate year they travel to another larger city or visit a college campus.

my children started out in the public school system, they were advanced in math and reading skills, the "no child left behind policy" in the public system left the bored, they were given busy work, when they finished lessons and were not challenged. They became frustrated and got into trouble with their class mates I made the change to Lebanon Lutheran and my kids advanced and thrived. I never received another phone call from a teacher concerned with my child's involvement in school. When they graduated and moved to the high school they (3 kids) maintained "honor role" status. 2 are now in college and also remain on the honor role.

LLS is a great place for my kids. There are many reasons, but I really like the small class sizes and personal attention for students and parents. The staff provides a caring Christian environment and has exceeded my expectations.

Great Lutheran School in a rural setting. My kids love going to school and I am happy with the education.
