GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best parts of Waukegan high school are there but you have to try and find them. If you are good in class and show that you are trying teachers will help you but if you don't then it's likely they won't. Teachers have a tendency to give up on the students who give up.

While the school does have a good focus on the essential academics and arts, the safety of the school can be questionable. Favoritism between those meant to ensure safety was present and multiple warnings were used on students who repeatedly did an illegal action. I hope the school will be able to fix this issue in order to make sure students are safe.

I’m not going to lie worst high-school to ever put a teenager in. If you’re a parent wanting to see your child succeed you’re not going to see them succeed coming from this school.

I like the school. You meet awsome people, both teachers and students. It can be better. But it is not the worst.
