GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Going through this school is a rollercoaster, really. There are so many stresses that some of the classes can put on you but when you follow them you see that it was good for your future. My Senior year has been stressful, but it prepared me a little bit.

I like Waverly High school because it is a small town school where everyone knows one another. I met all of my childhood friends in Waverly, NE. I was apart of a variety of different athletics, extracurricular activities, clubs, and classes.

I switched to Waverly High School this year from Millard North. Compared to what I'm used to, it has a very welcoming environment. Everyone is pretty kind. However, since most of them already knew each other, it was a little hard to make friends. Also, the curriculum is not designed for very smart/hardworking students and it's very easy to get a 4.0 GPA if you're fairly smart. However, it has a very good learning environment and the teachers care about what they teach.
