The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

We have extracurricular activities for a variety of students. I like how we have a Beta Club because the students who would like to be overachievers get their chance. By this I mean, Beta Club allows students to do many volunteer services that they wouldn't have the chance to do without this club. We also have FFA and FCCLA programs. I like how we have these two clubs because they are for students who are into agriculture or students who are interested in home economics.
Wayne City has been a good school for our family. It is small and safe with good student teacher ratios. There are plenty of activities in the school and community to keep kids involved. If you're looking to live in a small town I would recommend this school to you.
