GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I love the high school, it is a nice and well-kept building with many opportunities to take many different classes that prepare you for the future. There are also many clubs, sports, and activities to involve yourself in to make your experience at Waynesville High School even better, I don't think anything should change.

Waynesville was a pretty good high school overall for the teachers and my classes, but the administration always felt like they didn't really address issues brought up by students, such as when fights happened or people where sexually assaulted or harassed, I'd like to see them actually address those issues and deal with the students accordingly.

The high school wasn't bad and I feel like it overall prepared me for life, whatever path I would choose. I'm ready for college while others are prepared to head straight into the workforce. There's plenty of opportunities provided for whatever you may like. The support system could be better, but overall, I wouldn't change where I went to high school.

It is currently my senior year here at WHS, and I've come to really appreciate the diversity this school has especially compared to all the surrounding schools. Traveling to other schools for sporting events for example, you learn a lot of schools have one or two demographics, and everything is basi...

This school has its issues, I have three children who as of this year will have graduated here. My first daughter had both of her knee caps broken by a P.E teacher who insisted that her fall while running was just her 'being weak' I have twins who will graduate this year and again the teachers attit...

I sent my daughter here from beginning to Thanksgiving Break of this year, due to orders we had to move. She enjoyed the school. I liked what it had to offer. We had to work out a few kinks in the beginning but worked through them. The only downfall to the school is that I feel it is too big with to...
