Weatherford was overall a good experience. The school pride was very high energy and made everything so exciting. Although the students had a good time, ultimately we are there to learn. The teachers were not engaging and wouldn't ever form true connections with their students prohibiting their learning.

Teachers and staff tend to only care about athletes and not attempt to connect with students or care about academic merit. Students are bigoted and bullying is glossed over by adults, sometimes it is even encouraged.

Weatherford High School is a fairly nice school with pretty polite staff and a welcoming environment. The teachers who have been there for a while and even the newer teachers are all very welcoming and polite and have a pretty intense passion for teaching and communicating with the students on a personal basis. They all are trying to make the world a better place.

My son graduated from Weatherford HS in May of 2024. We moved here from Washington state the summer before his sophomore year. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming to him. He was happy to be there.
