The original school was first built in 1910 before burning down, and the institution was forced to relocate multiple times until the current Webster Elementary school was built in 1959. The school is a part of the Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, a program is dedicated to preparing students of all backgrounds for success in higher education. It focuses on leadership, critical thinking, teamwork and organizational skills. In addition, this program helps to close opportunity and achievement gaps that students may face. Webster believes that active involvement from every member of the school's community is crucial to the educational development of children.

I am a parent of a student at Webster elemnetary, and I would like to raise a concern about the current pick-up and drop-off situation. At present, there is no designated parking lot or safe area for parents to wait. This forces many of us to park on nearby side streets, where homeowners understanda...

Teachers here have their hands full that's for sure. Lot of the students come from families that do not speak English very well. I think having Spanish speaking teachers as aids will really help the students. I like to see this school to push the parents to get more involve. You go to these award ev...

Webster is a great school, My daughter goes there and has enjoyed it the whole time. I am happy with her progress, and the teachers have communicated very well during our time here. The school is a safe and secure location for kids to learn. (as safe as any school in America can be)
