GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I really liked my high school experience, the teachers actually take time and help you and they kind of become your friends. Also, because it's a small school with les than 600 students you really get to know everybody. Although we don't have a great big amount of clubs we still a good few such as our art and Spanish clubs. Overall a really nice school albeit small.

I would like to see more people being involved. I also think that when people come to our school all the students should be nice and be able to introduce themselves. All staff and administrations should let the students have their own rights and they should also have teachers let them come into other classrooms for extra help. Students should also have a free period.

While Randolph County High School is amazing at athletics, it has very limited academic options. For example, the school spends a lot of money on football but we have not had new textbooks for years. The counselor tries to limit us on dula enrollment options instead of pushing us to do our best.

The teachers don't teach right and the school board is bad also. I have never in my life seen a school system or school ran so terrible in my...
