I had two children attend EGE school and was very disappointed with the Principal and many of the teachers. One of my children was tested for the gifted program and we found that they had a high IQ verbal score - yet did not score proficient in the PSSAs - they were reading and writing at an incredible pace in 1st grade, yet somehow learned nothing between 1st and 5th grade. And when my second child was going through the school - I was concerned about the fact that my other child had learned so little - I was told that my other child probably had a bad day when they took the PSSAs. Also - when bullying issues arose - some of which were so bad that children received police records - parents were told that their children needed to get a thicker skin. Not at all happy with the school - shame.
