Home to the Dolphins, Springdale Elementary is located in the southeastern part of the Oak Grove community. In recent years, the school was renovated to add new classrooms, safety features and a cafeteria, reopening after the construction was complete. This elementary school focuses on educating students in kindergarten through fifth grade. While attending Springdale, children learn important academic principles and everyday life lessons following a simple motto: transform Springdale, think differently. Social studies and science are the top subjects at Springdale Elementary, followed by math and English. The school also offers opportunities for students to build confidence, leadership and teamwork skills while participating in different activities, including Beat Club, Celebration of the Arts, Run Hard, Reading Carnival and Poem in Your Pocket Day. Springdale also focuses on character-building programs during the school day with the Dolphins DIVE and PODS programs designed to support students through this critical emotional and social development stage. For school leaders, children and learning come first and helping each youngster strive for continuous growth is the Dolphin way.
