Overall I've had a great experience in Conard. I am a Junior and each year I have gained relationships with teachers that I feel have been beneficial to my development. I also have a great relationship with my counselor who is always there to answer any questions that I may have. My mom has been concerned about college and my counselor has always been there to answer any and all questions. We have a "Junior Workshop" preparing us for college and the admission process. It's been overwhelming but at the same time somewhat calming because of the step by step instructions completed in our workshops.

I get bullied by kids at this school. I don't understand why. I listen to hip hop too and I really hate this school. The salami is golden though. But jeez so mean these people can be! One of the teachers here who listens to punk rock music makes fun of me for liking hip hop and he calls me "Fly Guy" whatever thats supposed to mean. I just want to learn and I am forced at this school against my will so just stop bothering me.

I like Conard High school. The teachers are friendly, the school is very diverse and I have made a lot of friends over the past 4 years.

The overall experience for my daughter and nephew has been tremendous at Conard! I have seen significant intellectual and social growth in the kids. I would highly recommend this high school to residents of West Hartford!
