I almost didn't take advantage of this opportunity because I was worried I would miss out on the high school experience. Instead I found friends and have excelled in a smaller, more student focused environment. I am so thankful to have had this opportunity in my small county.

I loved the amount of freedom I was able to have while attending this school, I was treated like an adult with respect and I felt very respected. However, I did not like the inconsistencies in the school years, every year our schedule was changed in some way, and they would not stick to one and it threw me off every year.

My freshman year, the school had a new principal. It was almost as if she was learning everything there is to know about the early college program the same time we were. This was comforting but confusing at the same time. This year is my senior year and I wish that the program had been constructed the way it is being formed right now. I know these things take time but I believe that I would have a better education if the program had been better in the beginning.
