GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My children both are thriving at WLIS. It's a place that supports all learners, while taking care of the social and emotional needs of children at an age when that's critical.

We love Happy Hollow Elementary school because of its fundamentals and teachers, there are Physical Education, Art, Music, Orchestra, Choir, and contests that go with them, like the track meet at the end of the school year, the ISTHMA piano competition, and many more.

the school tolerated absolutely NO bullying, as it follows Cumberland Elementary's example, there has been no bullying in this school as far as I know, and the fire drills are regularly taken.

I will say as much as everyone raves about the school, the reviews of individual teachers -- compared and...

If the kids aren't allowed to throw food or hit others then why condone it for adults? This school offers too much homework in general but it is doable....

It's okay. When looking at the test scores, one has to keep in mind the student body/school district which is around Purdue University. The area is highly educated, and middle class or above. So the high scores are largely due to home life. The school could pay more attention to parent and student i...
