It is a good safe environment for everyone. No one is bullied which is a great thing. I have gone to school at West Nodaway for 14 years. It has been good for me. It is not a huge school so it makes 1 on 1 learning easier. All the teachers have always been so helpful. They always make sure you are where you need to be and always ready to help when you are not where you should be.

I enjoy the clubs and organizations I am in. I am in Academic Bowl, Art Club, Foreign Language Club, Drama Club, FTA and Upward Bound. Most of the clubs don't have an abundance of funding, but they are very good programs. They are very focused and fun, they also give students something to do after school.

I can't complain, this school has made me strong. I may be bullied but it has taught me that if I want to stand out and be different I have to be prepared for that. I am excelling academically and taking classes that support my career choice and I focus on that rather than the quality of my school. I enjoy my art classes, but my art teacher tends to be a bit of a bully, so I try to avoid her while I work. If I could choose a different school I would, but I understand that all schools have problems. I suppose I would prefer college, not high school.

Great small community, school is small enough that students get individual attention. Some teachers do change often due to this being a rural area. However the long term teachers are great.
