GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I started off school in Wisner then transferred to West Point my sophomore year. My grades were terrible before the switch and as soon as I came here, the teachers helped me drastically. My grades became excellent and I actually began to like school. The teachers at West Point really show that they care about how you are learning and aren't just there for a paycheck. They have helped my mental health in so many ways.

I have attended this school for four years. In my four years, the school has shown improvement across all fields. There are amazing teachers, and there is plenty of opportunities for scholarships and other programs. One of the most beneficial parts of attending is the dual credit options available to students, to help the get started on college.

My Experience with my high school has been pretty good. There is plenty of activities and stuff to do so kids are involved in activites. All the sports have decent coaches and give you an oppurtunity to let you be able to be on a team. I would like to see our administration be more active with the students and participate with the students.
