The best part of my experience at West High School was the having the biology teacher my freshman year who was always kind and friendly. When you made an A on the test, she would let you call your parent for her to brag about you to them which felt rewarding. A bad experience would be the cheating factor and how some teachers have a hard time dealing with it. It is not fair that the bad kids get to cheat and make the same grade as a student who actually tried on the test/assignment.

I overall have had a wonderful experience at West High School. I don't believe I have ever really had a bad experience during my years of attending school there. However, I would like the dress code for the girls to change. I would want it to be less strict.

I liked most all the classes I took, there is a wide selection of classes to choose from depending on what career you want to go in. I didn't like how most of in class time is mostly group work, I learn better alone than in a group.

Horrible school. Don’t believe the hype just because this school has a new building. It’s NOT all it’s talked up to be. The teachers are very unknowledgeable of the subjects they teach and fail terribly at parent communication. We moved our son to Connally HS and he LOVES it. I highly suggest agains...

Fair to Good, but not excellent. Poor educator-parent support or interaction. Poor teacher-parent feedback. Glad my daughter graduated and has moved on to college.
